Through our work at Hearts For The Homeless MS, we strive to make a difference in the lives of those experiencing homelessness. Praise in the Park - Poindexter Park
Poindexter Park is located in Jackson, Mississippi and is where many of the homeless population congregate after they leave the shelters for the day. We provide monthly non-perishable goods such as toothpaste, deodorant, sanitary napkins, toothbrushes, soaps, shampoo, lotions, and other items they need to care for themselves daily. We distribute monthly on location in cooperation with the Timberlawn Road Church of Christ who provides the bulk of our volunteers.
Grace House Annual "Victory in Recovery" Conference
We partner with Grace House Ministries Women's shelter and rehabilitation services on both a monthly and annual basis to encourage women recovering from addiction, sexual abuse, violence, and other issues. This effort helps the residents in the program know that they are valuable and appreciated.
Houston Homeless Support Event - Houston, TX
Houston Texas is home to a large homeless population. We work hand in hand with Zoey’s Outreach (www.zoeysoutreach.org) to provide much needed supplies for this large group of people who need assistance. Every fall we gather supplies and then work hard to sort, distribute, and be a blessing to those less fortunate.
Casa Ninos Felices Orphanage - D.R.
In addition to other services, we at H4TH Charity, believe that our adopted orphanage in the Dominican Republic provides an opportunity to make a significant impact on the lives of the children who call it home, as well as the surrounding community. We’re proud to support this amazing cause, and we encourage you to join us in providing a brighter future for these kids.
Monthly Shelter Supplies Drop-Off
Hearts For The Homeless MS is committed to providing essential supplies to local shelters in Jackson. We accept donations of water, snacks, toiletries, and other items that can make a difference in the lives of those experiencing homelessness. Our drop off sites are conveniently located throughout the city, making it easy for you to contribute to our cause.
Gateway Mission Annual “Victory in Recovery Conference
Our annual conference at the Gateway Mission brings together our community to inspire change and make a positive impact in the lives of those experiencing homelessness. Join us for a day of learning, sharing and networking, as we hear from those in recovery from addiction and explore new ways to address and combat homelessness.
Food Pantry Project - Jefferson County
We provide food pantry services to Jefferson County Mississippi which is considered to be one of the poorest counties in the USA. We provide bi-monthly distributions to registered applicants and overflow food box services to those who are not registered. We supply fresh meats, vegetables, breads, desserts, and other items.
Bi Monthly REACH HOUSE Luncheon
In support of a local homeless transitional and transitional housing project (REACH) we provide bi-monthly lunch services to the residents living there. We also partner with UMMC Student Health Care Coalition to give access to basic health care checks.
